Internship Program for youth

Five young people joined SEDEC in June to commence training as Interns in an innovative six-month program designed  to give them a valuable insight into the workings of a humanitarian organisation and to provide them with an opportunity to be trained as Social Workers. They are seen here with Rev Fr George Sigamoney, National Director of SEDEC, Mr Newman Fernando, Senior Executive Manager of SEDEC and Mr Freddie Jayawardene, Project Officer

We warmly welcome the Interns – Stephen Steniston, Prashanthi Nicholas, Rev.Sr. Gowsala Manuelpillai, Ranesh Dias and Prasangika Marian
