An Organic Farming Rally was held at the Mangalaelliya Church in the Chillaw diocese on 20 th December 2005.

148 organic farmers supported by Caritas Sri Lanka –SEDEC participated in the Rally and Exhibition. The rally opened to the public gathered visitors who could enjoy a market of organic farm products.

Mr. Antony Joshop in his welcome speech praised the knowledge and advantages of organic farming. “I expressed my views related to organic farming methods, benefits as well as the experiences I have gained,” he said.
