Pradeepa Lakshanti (21), her daughters Nimasha (2) and Sasandi (5), and her husband, were all caught in the flood of the tsunami. Miraculously they survived, but their home in Payagalla, south of Colombo , was destroyed. A year later they live in a new house built by Caritas, on the exact spot of their previous home.
"It's such a great relief. I am so grateful to Caritas for giving me such a house. I am very happy, very happy indeed," says Pradeepa.
