A Study session was conducted by Caritas Sri Lanka on creating awareness on the new constitution of Sri Lanka in Sinhala medium on a virtual platform. It was organized by the Social Justice and Sustainable Peace unit on 18th November 2020 from 9.30 a.m.to 11.45 a.m.
This session was organized mainly to create awareness and educate Diocesan Programme Coordinators and the religious leaders on the development with regard to the constitution of Sri Lanka and to educate the community level partners on the same. There were about 100 participants actively took part in this session. Mr. Neville Abeyratne, PC was the speaker for the session and it was a good informative session with the clarifications to the questions raised from the participants. Caritas Sri Lanka requested the DCs to share this knowledge to everyone in the grassroots level. The next study session will be organized in Tamil medium as well.
