Caritas Internationalis welcomes, its Thirteenth President and 11th Secretary General .

Our Caritas family (Caritas Sri Lanka – SEDEC) is honored to offer Archbishop Tarcisius Isao Kikuchi our sincere congratulations on becoming the new head of Caritas Internationalis. It’s a fantastic accomplishment and a real credit to his commitment, effort, and leadership.

Archbishop of Tokyo, Rev. Tarcisius Isao Kikuchi SVD, is the President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Japan and the Secretary General of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences (FABC).

Mr. Alistair Dutton, Elected New Secretary General of Caritas Internationalis

Currently Executive Director of SCIAF (Caritas Scotland), Mr. Dutton has more than 25 years of experience in the humanitarian field and has led projects in more than 70 countries. From 2009 to 2014, he served as the Humanitarian Director of Caritas Internationalis.

We are certain that he will keep improving and making a difference in the lives of countless people all around the world.
